Assembly and TestingAssembly

Once the parts are acquired, assembly then begins on you new custom gaming computer. The first thing we do in the assembly process is check and double check to make sure that we have all the parts that you ordered.

To save time in the event of an issue with a component we assemble the necessary parts to post the motherboard before even putting the parts into the computer case. After all the components are installed into the case we boot it up install the operating system and any drivers or updates and then begin the testing process.

Testing

The idea behind the testing procedure is to find any problems with the computer system before we ship it by running it at full power and maximum temperature for a long period of time. If there is a component that is about to fail, this will surely make it fail. We run a program that runs every major component of your custom gaming computer at its maximum and also benchmarks your system. We like to let this program run in a loop for a full 24 hours that way we are absolutely positive that your new custom gaming computer will be stable and reliable. After your custom computer passes the test we begin wiring the computer system. This is a very important step that a lot of system builders do not pay enough attention to. In your custom gaming computer you will find that we route and arrange each wire in such a way that reduces clutter and maximizes airflow for optimal cooling of critical system parts.

We record your benchmark score in our database for future reference if repair is ever needed.

Windows Installation

Unlike all of the big computer makers KB Custom Computers will not add any junk software to your operating system. We could never understand why these big box computer makers put so much junk on a computer system that it actually slows it down. The only software that we install on your custom gaming computer is the software you purchase from us and all the necessary drivers, updates, and service packs to get your system up to date. So your new computer comes to you as it should be...new.
